AI Assistant appoints Phil Stubbs as Chief Revenue Officer

AI Assistant has appointed Phil Stubbs as the organisation’s first Chief Revenue Officer – with a focus on increasing revenues in the UK and other global territories.

As part of its accelerated growth programme, AI Assistant is delighted to welcome Phil Stubbs as the latest member of its senior management team.

Effective immediately, Phil will be responsible for developing AI Assistant’s commercial model to grow its customer and reseller base. He brings more than 35 years’ experience in the automotive sector, both in the UK and overseas, including working with customers in more than 60 countries.

Initially starting out in technical roles, Phil has worked as a developer, in support and deployment before moving into sales and general management – most notably for Keyloop, where he is the Global Head of Commercial Improvement.

“I am very excited about this opportunity with AI Assistant for so many reasons,” said Phil. “AI Assistant’s technology is genuinely new and revolutionary. The products we offer lead the way and add real, practical value to every retail automotive business.

“Without doubt, I am joining a team of automotive technology pioneers with a unique opportunity to transform the way automotive retailers are working right now. By using AI and automation to do the hard, repetitive and volume tasks, we can help retailers free up their people to focus on what they do best - delivering great results in terms of customer satisfaction and financial performance.

“As the skills and people shortage continues to intensify, and annual targets increase, the ability to do more with current teams will be a top priority for dealers across the network. AI and intelligent automation can remove a lot of these headaches – delivering accuracy and consistency time after time.”

Commenting on the appointment, AI Assistant Director Ritchie Kelk said, “We are delighted to welcome Phil to the team. He brings unrivalled sector experience, proven commercial acumen and will help us shape our offering across multiple markets – each of which have different needs and priorities. His existing relationships and understanding of these market dynamics will ensure we are firmly on the front foot and I cannot wait to see the impact he has in the coming months.”

In terms of immediate priorities, Phil is focused on engaging with retailers to build awareness and understanding of the benefits of AI and automation.

He adds: “To date, AI Assistant has been working with a focused group of forward-thinking retailers to prove the value of its solutions – as well as finalising commercial agreements with key sector clients. As these come to fruition, we can demonstrate the impact we are making in automotive businesses on a daily basis – giving me the platform to further expand our customer base and sign reseller agreements with like-minded partners.

"With a remit to grow our product portfolio and global footprint there is certainly a lot to achieve. I’m looking forward to exciting times as more and more automotive retailers use our tools to prosper in 2023 and beyond.”
