Steven Eagell Embraces AI to Turbocharge Sales Generation

Steven Eagell – Europe’s largest Toyota and Lexus dealership group – is fully embracing the benefits of AI-powered customer communications after agreeing a nationwide rollout of AI Assistant’s Lost Sale and Overdue Sale solutions at more than 40 sites across the UK.

Earlier this year, AI Assistant’s automotive retail experts worked closely with the Steven Eagell team to understand the potential for deploying artificial intelligence (AI) into the business in the most effective way – highlighting support for the Sales Team as an important opportunity.

Specifically, this included an ambition to see how AI could help follow up overdue leads and reignite any lost sale opportunities, making AI Assistant’s AI-Powered Conversation Platform the clear choice.

This automated solution can initiate back and forth email conversations with customers on agreed topics – using AI to read and interpret every reply it gets before responding in a professional, on brand and human-like way.

At relevant points in the conversation, the AI Assistant can undertake a range of appropriate actions. This can include connecting the customer with a human member of the team, directing a customer to an online booking portal or setting a reminder to reconnect with the customer at an agreed future date.

When it comes to Lost Sale and Overdue opportunities, the fully automated AI Assistant platform is now checking Steven Eagell’s Keyloop dealer management system (DMS) every day to identify the right contacts and then engages with those customers via back-and-forth email conversations to see if they are interested in a new vehicle.

Every new lead is emailed straight to the Steven Eagell Sales Team for conversion and the DMS is updated in line with campaign activity – all with no human intervention.
